CRC-Evans Offshore secured a Contract for Provision of Welding Services on the Dangote Project

In September 2017, CRC-Evans Offshore secured a Contract for Provision of Welding Services on the Dangote Project, and I am pleased to announce that following the ongoing support provided by our Project Management Team on Phase I to date, we have now secured a secondary phase of the project with COOEC.

This additional scope consists of 16km of 24” Water Injection pipelines using internal Cylindrical Corrosion Barrier (CCB) Sleeves, with production scheduled to commence Offshore Nigeria in Q4 2018.

This award further evidences the strengthening relationship between COOEC and CRC-Evans Offshore, and enables us to showcase our ability to deploy advanced solutions for technically-challenging scopes.

A huge thank you to all involved in the last five months of negotiations, with special thanks extended to Ian Tolmie, Paul Macpherson and all the Production Team currently at COOEC’s facility in China for their tremendous efforts on the Phase I WPQ Programme, which has played a vital part in securing this scope.
